The Nehemiah Alliance 52-Day Prayer Call is part of America’s 250th anniversary and the White House’s America Prays Initiative from September 10 through November 1, 2026. The National Prayer Call follows the fifty-two days it took Nehemiah to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem that had been broken down. The goal is to bring Christians across denominational and cultural lines together in united ongoing prayer, fasting, and repentance—seeking wisdom, humility, and renewal for our communities, our state, and our nation.
America has a rich history of leaders in the highest offices of government calling for prayer. Our nation has turned to prayer in times of crisis and thanksgiving, including more than 130 national calls to prayer by the President of the United States or Congress since the nation's founding. Therefore, as America marks its 250th anniversary, the Nehemiah Alliance is positioning the Church in America on the walls of the nation as a prophetic action aligning with the book of Nehemiah. Everyone, every church, and every state has been assigned prayer points and strategic positions in line with Nehemiah 4:13-23.
The initiative begins with a kickoff fast, continues with daily 7 p.m. Zoom prayer calls and weekly Sunday church prayer gatherings, and culminates in major in-person events in Anchorage and the Valley on October 17 and 18, followed by the National Prayer Conference in Washington, D.C., on October 31, which will include a global livestream.
